As the principal of Somerset CPAs’ Construction and A/E industries, Ken is a trusted advisor within the construction, architectural and engineering fields on industry best practices, operational and efficiency initiatives, and helping organizations improve/enhance their performance—primarily through the analysis of existing organizational challenges, and the development of plans for improvement and providing tools for effective execution. Ken also has significant experience in business succession and management transition plans.
A nationally-recognized expert on the construction and A/E industries, Ken speaks to numerous organizations about high-level management and operational strategies related to the construction and design industries. Ken also writes for various publications, and was the 2014 recipient of the James J. Leonard Memorial Award—presented annually by the Indiana/Kentucky Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors.
Ken is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana/Kentucky, Indiana Construction Roundtable, Indiana Construction Association, Indiana Subcontractors Association, Construction Financial Management Association, American Council of Engineering Companies, American Institute of Architects, and the Surety Association. He is an original co-founder and Chair of the Construction Accounting Network, currently serving as Chair of the Value Add Committee.
